DESCRIPTION:Medical City Alliance  invites the public to its eighth annual
  “Spooktacular” celebration on Saturday\, Oct. 29\, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Th
 e family-friendly event features music\, free food and drinks\, face paint
 ing\, trick-or-treating for the kids\, a costume contest\, free health inf
 ormation and many more activities. \nHosted since the hospital opened in 2
 015\, the Spooktacular has welcomed up to 3\,000 community attendees annua
 lly. Even though it was converted to a socially-distanced drive-through ev
 ent during the pandemic\, the event still attracted nearly 2\,000 people i
 n 2021. \nTo support community members in need\, this year’s Spooktacular
  attendees will be asked to donate two nonperishable food items for entry
  into the event. The food will be donated to a local food pantry. \nSpookt
 acular participants are also encouraged to dress up in costumes\, with pri
 zes for the best kids’ costumes to be awarded hourly. Other attractions wi
 ll include a scavenger hunt\, photos with a fire truck and a medical trans
 port helicopter\, face painters\, clowns and community voting on hospital
