Community is Invited to Participate in Toy and Food Drive

This November, Park Place is kicking off the holiday season by hosting a Holiday Toy Drive benefiting GRACE Christmas Cottage. This partnership helps families across North Texas who are facing financial hardship experience the magic of the holiday season, filled with hope and plenty of toys.

The community also can participate by donating new, unwrapped toys, shelf-stable pantry items, hygiene essentials and cleaning supplies. Donations can be dropped off at Park Place Land Rover, Park Place Lexus Grapevine, Southlake Town Hall, or Southlake Town Square Management Office through December 8. 

“We enjoy partnering with GRACE Christmas Cottage to bring some relief and comfort to families who need it most during the holiday season,” said Corbin Bracken, General Manager at Park Place Land Rover. “This tradition holds a special place in our hearts, and our Members look forward to volunteering and supporting our neighbors right here in Tarrant County.” 

For more than 40 years, GRACE has been establishing and expanding programs that provide essential support to families facing financial hardship. For more than two decades, the nonprofit's signature holiday initiative, the GRACE Christmas Cottage, has brought smiles and joy to children and families across North Texas. 

“After all the items have been collected, our Members volunteer to unload donations from both dealerships and help set up at the GRACE Christmas Cottage,” said Charles Owen, General Manager of Park Place Lexus Grapevine. “We want people to know we genuinely care for them and we hope our efforts will provide a little joy in their lives.” 

Each year, volunteers create a festive store front display of the donated toys for parents to “shop”, allowing them to choose the perfect items for their children. Last year alone, GRACE Christmas Cottage served 4,200 children and families.
