Dr. Mona Stone recently hosted an open house to debut Stone Surgical Arts to clients and supporters. Dr. Stone specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery to correct conditions of the mouth and surrounding facial structures, including the head, neck, and jaw. Specialized services include dental implants, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea, sinus lift, and other dental services. This new Westlake practice will also offer the community cosmetic facial services such as Botox and facial fillers, neck and face lifts, chin sculpting and reshaping, skin lesion removal, and other facial services. Dr. Stone’s goal with this new practice is to maximize her patient’s quality of life and care by collaborating with different providers (PCP, bariatric surgeons, physical therapy, nutritionists  etc). Guests in attendance were treated to a tour of the new practice, enjoyed Texas-shaped Truffles from Chocolate Hangover and champagne from Get Cozy, a vintage mobile bar. Westlake Mayor Laura Wheat and members of the Chamber of Commerce were present to give encouraging words and welcome Dr. Stone into the community as well as John McGreevy, CEO of Methodist Southlake, and staff from the Department of Surgery from Baylor Grapevine.

The Stone Surgical Arts space was designed to attract consumers who would normally travel into the Dallas or Ft. Worth for treatments, while also appealing to patients from the suburban neighborhoods. High ceilings, glass walls and soothing lime green walls with charcoal and white accents can be found throughout the office and create a chic, but relaxed, vibe the moment you step into this modern surgical clinic. Much of the layout was driven by the lab-intensive nature of the skin cancer surgery process. From anywhere within the clinic, the views to the outside and the natural light throughout create an uplifting feeling.

Seasoned by over 10 years of clinical experience in her field, and backed by solid academic training and credentials, Dr. Stone enjoys a high satisfaction rating from patients who credit her with providing excellent dental and medical treatment and aftercare. Dr. Stone is a preferred provider with all major insurance carriers and financing is available for those who need the option. Dr. Stone is on staff as an attending surgeon at three local hospitals including Baylor Scott and White in Grapevine, Irving, and Methodist Health. In addition to her role in the community, she is the mother of two beautiful toddlers, Max (1) and Sofia (3), and an avid fan of motor sports and Formula 1.
