Grant Money Available for Arts-Related Programs

Arts Council Northeast, in partnership with Texas Commission on the Arts, is offering grants for arts-related programs to schools, ISDs, 501©(3) non-profit organizations, cities, and individuals located in the 16 cities we serve. These cities include Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga, and Westlake.

If your organization is outside our area of service and provides an arts-based program that benefits our 16-city area, please submit an inquiry letter describing your program or project prior to submitting an application.

Online grant applications are available at www.artscouncilnortheast.org/grants.aspx.

The submission deadline is Monday, December 2, 2013. Grants will be awarded in the 1st quarter of 2014.

Through its grant program, offered yearly, Arts Council Northeast is able to offer financial support for arts-related programs in North Tarrant and Southern Denton Counties.  Since 1997, Arts Council Northeast has partnered with the Texas Commission on the Arts in generating over $1.4 million in funds spent in support of the arts in our communities.

Raising money for the arts is an ongoing commitment and service that Arts Council Northeast provides through matching grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts and fundraising events that occur throughout the year.  Projects the grant money has helped fund include Young People’s Concerts in HEB ISD, Special Weekend for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Imagination Celebration (BISD), and Keller Oral History Project.  Trinity Arts Guild, Regal Opera Company, and the Northeast Orchestra are also past recipients of grants from Arts Council Northeast.

Any questions regarding Arts Council Northeast’s grant application should be directed to Bobbie McFarland at 817-283-3406.
